Nicolas Lloreda is the President of Primus Responsum. A lawyer and diplomat, he last served as Colombia's Ambassador to Canada ( 2013-2018) and as Deputy Chief of Mission of the Colombian Embassy in Washington (2010-2012) where he was responsible for coordinating the legislative strategy to have the Colombia' Free Trade Agreement approved by the US Congress after the agreement had been stuck for 5 years. Ambassador Lloreda also practiced law in Washington DC (2000-2010) in two of the city's largest law firms, representing foreign governments and companies in investment arbitrations, international trade disputes and corporate matters throughout the Americas. Between 1997-2000, Mr Lloreda was General Counsel and Director General, at the Andean Community in Lima, Peru. He led the legal team in all proceedings before the Andean Court against member countries, for non compliance of the Andean Trade Agreements. Mr Lloreda was also trade negotiations co-coordinator of the Andean Block during that time.
